EDM Operator / CNC Machine Operator
Woburn, MA | Full-Time | $23.00–$26.00/hr
Schulte Staffing Solutions is actively seeking skilled EDM Operators and CNC Machine Operators for a reputable, well-established client in the Woburn area. Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Position Overview
In this role, you will operate CNC machinery, including Wire EDM, to produce high-quality precision parts. You’ll play a key role in ensuring accuracy, quality, and efficiency throughout the manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machines, including Wire EDM equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Perform final quality inspections using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers)
- Maintain accurate production records (manual and digital)
- Identify and report equipment maintenance needs
- Keep work area clean, organized, and safe
- Support additional production tasks as needed
What We’re Looking For
- 2–5 years of experience with CNC machining (milling and lathe operations)
- Experience setting up reference points
- Proficiency using Vernier calipers and micrometers
- EDM experience is a plus (training available for strong CNC machinists)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Basic computer skills
- Willingness to cross-train and expand skillset
