Our client in the Peabody area is growing and is need of an experienced Document Control Coordinator. This is a very well established company that could provide years of job stability and they have an excellent benefits package!
Summary/Objective
Responsible for creation, organization, and maintenance of various Engineering and Quality documentation in accordance with the company quality management system procedures and policies.
Essential Functions
- Assist Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, and Quality with document control and improvements.
- Oversee document change process.
- Create and maintain workflows in SolidWorks PDM.
- Create and maintain forms and document templates.
- Assist in QMS internal and external audits and other documentation for other regulatory compliance
requirements and registration - Maintain employee training records, reports and requirements in the training database
- Assist in updating internal company applications like Corrective Action, Deficiency Reports, Return Material Authorization and other Quality and Engineering applications as needed.
Required Competencies
- Experience with AS9100 / ISO9001 or some other document control quality management system.
- Copy Exact / process control knowledge.
- Sound computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience with writing quality procedures and forms.
- Understanding of workflows with a willingness to be a SolidWorks PDM administrator.
- Willingness to give training in various procedures.
- Willingness to assist in various quality and customer audits.
Expected Hours of Work and Pay Rate
Full-time position
Monday through Friday,
$26.00 - $28.00 DOE
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience
