Assembler - 2nd Shift
Job Description
Schulte Staffing Solutions is currently seeking Assemblers for a growing manufacturing company in Georgetown, MA. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, using tools, and being part of a team that takes pride in building quality products.
Position Summary
The Assembler is responsible for assembling a variety of finished products using blueprints, specifications, and standard operating procedures. Products range from simple handheld components to larger, more complex assemblies. This role also assists with inventory management, packaging, and shipping activities.
Schedule: Monday - Thursday
2:00 PM - 12:30 AM
Responsibilities
- Assemble and package products using fabricated, machined, and purchased components
- Use a variety of hand tools including drills, impact drivers, screwdrivers, wrenches, and sockets
- Apply stains to wooden components as needed
- Ensure all work is completed safely and meets quality standards
- Assist with finished goods inventory management and inventory controls
- Package products for shipment and assist with loading materials
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards
- Work collaboratively with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency
- Support additional tasks as needed to meet business demands
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Previous assembly, manufacturing, construction, HVAC, plumbing, or related experience preferred
- Experience working with hand and power tools
- Blueprint reading experience is a plus, but training will be provided
- Basic math skills required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Reliable attendance and a positive team-oriented attitude
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Frequent bending, kneeling, lifting, and movement throughout the shift
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Comfortable working around machinery, forklifts, and industrial equipment
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise and varying temperatures
- Competitive starting pay of $21.00–$22.00 per hour
