Schulte Staffing is currently seeking an Apprentice CNC Machine Operator for a growing manufacturing company on the North Shore. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their CNC machining career with a company willing to train motivated individuals in a precision manufacturing environment. We are looking for dependable candidates with strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a willingness to learn. 

Schedule:
Monday – Friday
7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Pay Rate:
$22-$24/hr DOE

Summary:
The Apprentice CNC Machine Operator is responsible for the manufacture and inspection of high-precision products of varying complexity under supervision. This individual will support production goals while ensuring quality standards are met and maintaining a safe, organized manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Set up and operate CNC turning and milling equipment following company procedures and production standards
• Work primarily with Okuma and Mori Seiki CNC machines
• Perform repetitive machining operations on production parts
• Machine precision products from blueprints and drawings under supervision
• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and work instructions
• Perform quality inspections on machined parts
• Maintain computerized and/or manual production records
• Follow all shop safety and quality procedures
• Assist with additional production duties as needed

Qualifications:
• High School Diploma required; some college or technical/vocational training preferred
• CNC, machining, manufacturing, or mechanical experience preferred
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and work instructions
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to work professionally and cooperatively with team members

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand, bend, squat, kneel, twist, and move throughout the shop floor regularly
• Manual dexterity to operate precision machinery and tools
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
• Visual acuity to inspect precision machined parts and read blueprints
