Job Description
Primary Responsibilities
- Setup and run 3 and 4 axis VMC. (Mori, Samsung and Hass)
- Fully inspect a part prior to sending it into Quality.
- Perform in process inspection using standard precision inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, micro height, CMM experience a plus).
- Read and interpret GD&T.
- Work independently and as part of team.
- Prioritize jobs based on customer’s due date.
- Optimize programs to maximize machine output.
- Own quality and consistently produce high quality parts that meet customer requirements.
- Strictly adhere to our AS9100D requirements
- Hold tolerances of .0005" or less
- Lift 50lbs
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Good computer skills, familiarity with office software.
- Good record-keeping and organizational skills.
- Use of micrometers, calipers, optical comparators, and other inspection tools.
- Basic geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
- Setup and operation of CNC milling machines.
- Ability to troubleshoot problems with CNC milling machines and parts.
- Understanding of machining methods and cutting tool capabilities.
- Good math skills.
- Experience working with 300 series, PH, Inconel, Ti
- Experience with Mastercam, CamWorks, Solidworks a plus
