CNC Programmer / Machinist
Job Description
A busy metal fabrication shop seeking a skilled CNC Machinist with experience running both horizontal and vertical CNC milling machines. The ideal candidate will be capable of setting up and operating Mazak HCN-5000 Horizontal Milling Centers, Mazak 700, or similar equipment, with programming knowledge of FANUC controls.
Hours and Pay Rate: Monday-Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm, Overtime is optional, $30-35/hr+
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC milling machines (horizontal and vertical)
- Program and edit using FANUC controls
- Ensure parts meet tight tolerances and quality standards
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Maintain clean and safe work environment
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with Mazak HCN-5000 or similar horizontal mills
- Strong knowledge of FANUC programming and setup
- Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools
- Attention to detail and strong troubleshooting skills
- Flexible and able to work independently or as part of a team
