Schulte Staffing is seeking a quality CNC Setup Milling Machinist for our client in the Haverhill area that can perform set up, and operates CNC machines to produce parts and inspects those parts for compliance with customer requirements.
Primary Responsibilities
- Setup and run 3 and 4 axis VMC. (Mori, Mazak, Samsung and Hass)
- Fully inspect a part prior to sending it into Quality.
- Perform in process inspection using standard precision inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, micro height, CMM experience a plus).
- Read and interpret GD&T.
- Work independently and as part of team.
- Prioritize jobs based on customer’s due date.
- Optimize programs to maximize machine output.
- Own quality and consistently produce high quality parts that meet customer requirements.
- Strictly adhere to our AS9100D requirements
- Hold tolerances of .0005"-.0002"
- Lift 50lbs
Required Knowledge and Skills
· Good computer skills, familiarity with office software.
· Good record-keeping and organizational skills.
· Use of micrometers, calipers, optical comparators, and other inspection tools.
· Basic geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
· Setup and operation of CNC milling machines.
· Ability to troubleshoot problems with CNC milling machines and parts.
· Understanding of machining methods and cutting tool capabilities.
· Good math skills.
Experience Preferred:
· Experience working with 300 series, PH, Inconel, Ti
· Experience with Mastercam, CamWorks, Solidworks a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
