Schulte Staffing Solutions is currently seeking an experienced Quality Inspector III to join our client’s growing team! This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a background in quality control and inspection—particularly in cable and connector assemblies.

Pay Rate: $26.00 - $28.00 p/h
Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Job Summary:
In this role, you’ll be responsible for performing mechanical, visual, and electrical inspections on incoming, in-process, and final cable and connector assemblies. You'll also maintain quality records using data collection software and play a critical part in ensuring product compliance and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities: Interpret and comprehend advanced engineering drawings
  • Perform tests using OHM meters, Cirrus testers, and power supplies
  • Record and maintain inspection results using ERP and quality software
  • Use a variety of measurement tools: calipers, micrometers, gauges, microscopes, and more
  • Perform FAI (First Article Inspections) when required
  • Execute visual, mechanical, and electrical inspections according to standards
  • Communicate effectively across departments
Required Qualifications:

  • 1+ years experience in Quality Control or equivalent technical certification

  • Proficient in reading 2D engineering drawings

  • Able to read and follow written work instructions in English

  • Familiarity with ERP systems

  • CNC exposure a plus

  • IPC certification (preferred)

  • High School Diploma or GED required
Desired Skills:

  • IPC-620 Certification

  • Experience with QPL, connector, and cable assembly inspections

  • Hands-on knowledge with Cirrus or similar test equipment

Familiarity with First Article Inspection (FAI) protocols
 
Physical Requirements:

  • Sedentary to moderate physical activity

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Frequent hand/wrist/finger movement

  • Standing/sitting for long durations
Education & Experience:
  • 1+ years of experience in quality inspection or a related field.
  • Technical certificate in an Engineering discipline preferred.
  • High School Diploma (required).
