Job Description
Schulte Staffing Solutions is seeking a Machine Operator for a growing manufacturing company in Franklin, NH. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are highly motivated, detail-oriented, and enjoy working in a fast-paced production environment. Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
$19.00/hr
2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
2nd Shift Differential: +10%
Responsibilities
- Operate production machinery safely and efficiently
- Perform basic machine setups and adjustments
- Monitor production processes and maintain quality standards
- Inspect parts according to company procedures and specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints and production documents
- Monitor scrap rates and identify opportunities for improvement
- Utilize measuring tools and follow quality control procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Support production requirements and meet established goals
- Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, and company policies
- Work collaboratively with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency
- Support additional tasks as needed to meet business demands
- Work overtime when required
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum of one year of related manufacturing experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience working with steel, aluminum, and/or stainless steel preferred
- Ability to read blueprints is a plus; training may be provided for the right candidate
- Basic math skills required
- Understanding of quality control procedures and inspection requirements
- Basic knowledge of cutting tools and their applications
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles preferred
- Basic understanding of ISO standards and manufacturing processes
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Frequent standing, sitting, bending, and kneeling
- Ability to repeatedly lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to loud noise
- Ability to work safely around forklifts and other manufacturing equipment
This position works in both office and manufacturing environments. Employees may be exposed to machinery, noise, temperature fluctuations, and general industrial conditions while performing their duties.
