Schulte Staffing Solutions is seeking candidates for one of our manufacturing clients. We are currently hiring a Planning Assistant to support the Planning and Production departments in a fast-paced technology manufacturing environment. This entry-level position provides a great introduction to planning methodologies, ERP systems, and the overall operations of a manufacturing organization.
The Planning Assistant plays a key role in ensuring that the Planning and Production departments run smoothly. This entry level role is a great introduction to Planning methodologies, ERP systems and the functioning of a technology manufacturing environment.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time hourly position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday,7am to 3:30pm.

Essential Functions

- Responsible for collecting completed job packages and scanning them for electronic storage
- Responsible for collecting Purchase Orders, Quotes, Short Shippers and related documents and scanning them for electronic storage
- Assistant Planning team researching and closing out aged work orders
- Perform other responsibilities as required

- High School diploma - college preferred
- Experience in a Manufacturing environment
- MRP or ERP experience a plus
- Experience within Planning or Operations preferred
