Schulte Staffing Solution is seeking an experienced Quality Technician II for client in Danvers, MA. This is a great opportunity with a established company. Our client is a lead manufacturer in resistance heating elements.

The Quality Technician II is a vital member of the Quality and Compliance team, responsible for ensuring that products and processes meet internal quality standards and external regulatory requirements. This position supports compliance initiatives across various global regulations and customer expectations, and works cross-functionally with production, engineering, and regulatory affairs.

Workplace Summary
The Quality Technician II is a vital member of the Quality and Compliance team, responsible for ensuring that products and processes meet internal quality standards and external regulatory requirements. This position supports compliance initiatives across various global regulations and customer expectations, and works cross-functionally with production, engineering, and regulatory affairs.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with internal ISO auditing
- Conduct and Review First Article Inspections (FAIs)
- Perform regulatory documentation review, audits, and support product declarations as needed for customer or internal compliance requests.
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and manufacturing to ensure compliance throughout the supply chain.
- Maintain accurate records for material traceability and regulatory documentation, such as SDSs, declarations of conformity, and technical files.
- Assist with internal audits and readiness for external regulatory inspections and customer audits.
- Interpret technical specifications, blueprints, and compliance documents to support quality inspections and validations.
- Perform product inspections and assist in root cause analysis and corrective action investigations related to compliance or quality failures.
- Support training of team members on applicable regulatory topics and quality procedures.
- Drive continuous improvement in compliance processes and documentation control.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical certification in a relevant field preferred.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing, quality, or regulatory compliance role.
- Familiarity with environmental and material compliance databases, supplier declarations, and due diligence practices.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001
- Familiarity with FAIs
- Excellent documentation and organizational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, engineering drawings, and compliance declarations.
- Comfortable working in cross-functional teams and independently managing regulatory tasks and timelines.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word; ERP or PLM system experience a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting third-party testing/certification (e.g., UL, CSA).
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement principles.
- Previous experience in an electronics, machining, or precision manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with international trade compliance and product safety standards.
