Job Description

Schulte Staffing is seeking a Machine Operator to join our team in Danvers. The Machine Operator will be responsible for setting up, maintaining, and sometimes operating machinery to ensure the efficient running of our production processes.

Hours & Pay Rate:
  • Monday – Friday
  • 7:00am - 3:30pm
  • $20.00 - $25.00/hr

Responsibilities:
  • Set up machines to start a production cycle.
  • Repair and maintain rigid box making equipment.
  • Assist production personnel with settings.
  • Test operation of machines periodically.
  • Fix issues that might occur during the shift.
  • Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws.
  • Log and record readings for equipment and procedures.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in plant operations or related fields.
  • Understanding of production procedures.
  • Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g., constant use of protective gear).
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly.
  • Familiarity with box making, paper board, and paper is a plus.
  • Experience with pneumatic and piston-driven equipment is a plus.
  • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to handle physical workload.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a technical degree is a plus.
