Schulte Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Metal Fabrication Machinist for a growing manufacturing company in Georgetown, MA.

Overview:

Full-Time Day Shift Position, 7:30a-3:30p Mon - Fri

Background Profile:
  • Metal Fabrication Machinist produces machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a CNC machine; maintaining quality & safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment & supplies.
  • Plans machining by following blueprint designs and engineering plans, materials, and specifications. Responsible for use of Vernier-Calipers, Precision Squares, and Protractors to ensure compliance and quality requirements.
  • Programs mills & lathes by entering instructions, including reference points; setting tools, offsets, compensation; calculating requirements, including basic math & proving part programs.
  • Maintains specifications by observing drilling, boring, grooving, and cutting. The Metal Fabrication Machinist is able to detect a problem and fix it with troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls; replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.
  • Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
  • Excellent communication skills
