Job Description

Schulte Staffing Solutions is hiring a Temporary Maintenance Technician for a 77-unit residential property in Gloucester, MA. This is a minimum 6–8 month assignment with potential to be extended or become permanent. 

Join a 2-person maintenance team supporting a well-managed and stable property. This is an excellent opportunity for someone reliable, hands-on, and looking for consistent work with a flexible schedule. Job Responsibilities:
  • General apartment and building maintenance
  • Light plumbing (e.g., unclogging toilets, fixing leaks)
  • Troubleshooting appliances (stove, fridge, etc.)
  • Common household tasks (changing lightbulbs, minor repairs)
  • Basic handiwork and preventative maintenance
  • On-call duty every other weekend (rotating with teammate)
Note: No HVAC or mechanical experience required – this is not a specialized technician role.

Qualifications:
  • Reliable and punctual
  • General maintenance or handyman experience preferred
  • Must have own transportation to Gloucester
  • Comfortable with basic tools and repairs
  • Able to work independently and as part of a small team
  • Must be physically able to perform maintenance tasks
  • Previous apartment maintenance experience
Schedule & Flexibility:
  • Start Time: Flexible - between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM
  • Hours: 8-hour shift, Monday through Friday
  • On-Call: Required every other weekend
Pay Range:
  • $20–$27/hour, depending on qualifications and experience
