Job Description

Schulte Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for a growing manufacturing company in the beautiful New Hampshire Lakes Region (Franklin). This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled maintenance professional who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, solving mechanical problems, and keeping production running safely and efficiently. Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 hr (10% differential for 2nd Shift)
Employment Type: Temp to Perm,  Direct Hire Opportunity for the right candidate
Schedule: Monday - Friday; 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM  Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair production machinery and facility equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems.
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform emergency repairs to minimize downtime.
  • Complete preventive and predictive maintenance according to scheduled maintenance plans.
  • Diagnose equipment issues, replace components, and verify proper operation.
  • Perform lubrication, oil changes, and routine equipment inspections.
  • Assist with troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment (advanced programming not required).
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals, work orders, and technical documentation.
  • Perform occasional plumbing and carpentry repairs as needed.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
  • Follow OSHA safety standards and company procedures.
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
Qualifications
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with industrial maintenance experience.
  • Experience troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems.
  • Basic computer skills for documentation and maintenance systems (CMMS).
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel between facilities if needed.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work overtime when required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to read mechanical and electrical blueprints or schematics.
  • Basic electrical knowledge and familiarity with PLC-controlled equipment.
  • Experience with machine tools and industrial manufacturing equipment.
  • Basic math and trigonometry skills.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards and quality systems.
  • Comfortable working at heights and using ladders.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel, and lift throughout the workday.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, noise, heat, and varying temperatures.
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
