Schulte Staffing Solutions is currently seeking a Mechanical Assembler I for a direct hire opportunity with one of our trusted clients in Peabody, MA. The Mechanical Assembler I is responsible for assembling high-precision products of varying complexity under the guidance of a more experienced team member. This position also requires accountability for both the quality and quantity of work performed.
This is a full-time, hourly position, operating Monday through Friday, 7:00AM-3:30PM.
Pay: $19.00 – $21.50 per hour, depending on experience (DOE).

Pay Range: $19.00 - $20.50 per hour, depending on experience

this role routinely use electrical test equipment, standard hand tools, and some office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.

- Under the direction of a more experienced employee, assemble a variety of subassemblies and standard and unique products using established procedures.
- Accurate fitting, aligning, and adjusting required to very close tolerances or precision fits subject
to strict inspection. - Set up, and test complete products to ensure that units meet specification and customer order
requirements - Other responsibilities as required.
- Ability to be a team player with excellent communication skills
- Ability to read mechanical drawings
- Good manual dexterity
- Basic computer skills

- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-3 years in an assembly environment
