Job Description


Schulte Staffing Solutions is seeking qualified candidates with relevant experience for a direct hire opportunity with one of our clients in Beverly, MA. This position offers a competitive pay range of $21–$23 per hour, along with an excellent benefits package including 401(k), medical, dental, vision, vacation, and paid holidays. We are looking for skilled, detail-oriented individuals who thrive in a precision manufacturing environment and are ready to take on a more advanced assembly role.


Summary/Objective
The Mechanical Assembler II is responsible for assembling and testing high-precision products of varying complexity under minimal supervision. This role also ensures the quality and quantity of work performed meet established standards.


Essential Functions

  • Assemble a variety of subassemblies, standard and special products using established procedures

  • Perform accurate fitting, aligning, and adjustments to very close tolerances subject to strict inspection

  • Set up and test complete products to ensure units meet specifications and customer requirements

  • Perform additional duties as assigned

  • Ability to read and interpret diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, and reports

  • Ability to explain assembly procedures or techniques to other team members

  • Understanding of customer service importance

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

  • Basic computer skills

  • Strong attention to detail


Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no direct reports.


Work Environment
This role operates in a dedicated laboratory within a professional manufacturing environment. Employees regularly use electrical test equipment, standard hand tools, and office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.


Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this job, with or without accommodation.

  • Frequent verbal and written communication

  • Regular movement throughout the workspace and use of hands and arms

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally

  • Required vision abilities include close, distance, and color vision

  • Manual dexterity for precision work

  • Frequent sitting, standing, bending, reaching, and movement on the shop floor

  • Occasional squatting or kneeling


Position Type / Expected Hours of Work
Full-time, hourly position
Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM


Travel
No travel required.


Required Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 3+ years of experience in an assembly environment
