Hours: 1st Shift
Pay Rate: 75,000K – 80,000K
Job Description
The Quality Assurance Manager will oversee and lead quality assurance and quality control programs, focusing on promoting a culture of quality throughout the organization. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a Quality Management System (QMS) and Food Safety programs to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the facility’s Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure quality standards are met across all production sites.
- Ensure product quality and performance meet customer satisfaction and industry standards, including ISO 9001, UL certification, Prop 65, PFAS, and food safety requirements.
- Facilitate quality audits and customer third-party audits, including FAIRs and CofAs.
- Act as the Lead Auditor for required internal and external audits.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, review, and manage quality policies and procedures.
- Monitor key quality performance indicators (KPIs) and lead continuous improvement initiatives with operations teams.
- Lead corrective actions (CARs), supplier corrective actions (SCARs), and risk management strategies.
- Support supplier quality management and performance assessments, including fitness-for-use evaluations.
- Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices, sharing technical insights across the organization.
- Maintain maintenance and calibration programs for quality-critical devices.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, GMP, and environmental guidelines.
- Promote a safe work environment by adhering to health and safety policies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to apply industry standards to complex situations.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization.
- Experience in developing and implementing ISO-compliant quality systems.
- Familiarity with food safety systems, GMP, and regulatory compliance standards.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a quality management-related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar quality management role within manufacturing.
- Must have internal auditing experience, preferably in ISO and GMP environments.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems, including ISO 9001, AIB, and food safety quality systems.
- Proficiency with ERP systems, quality management systems, and tools like SharePoint, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and specifications.
