Schulte Staffing Solutions is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to join a growing manufacturing team at a state-of-the-art facility.
Hours: 1st Shift
Pay Rate: 75,000K – 80,000K


Job Description
The Quality Assurance Manager will oversee and lead quality assurance and quality control programs, focusing on promoting a culture of quality throughout the organization. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a Quality Management System (QMS) and Food Safety programs to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the facility’s Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure quality standards are met across all production sites.
  • Ensure product quality and performance meet customer satisfaction and industry standards, including ISO 9001, UL certification, Prop 65, PFAS, and food safety requirements.
  • Facilitate quality audits and customer third-party audits, including FAIRs and CofAs.
  • Act as the Lead Auditor for required internal and external audits.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, review, and manage quality policies and procedures.
  • Monitor key quality performance indicators (KPIs) and lead continuous improvement initiatives with operations teams.
  • Lead corrective actions (CARs), supplier corrective actions (SCARs), and risk management strategies.
  • Support supplier quality management and performance assessments, including fitness-for-use evaluations.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices, sharing technical insights across the organization.
  • Maintain maintenance and calibration programs for quality-critical devices.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, GMP, and environmental guidelines.
  • Promote a safe work environment by adhering to health and safety policies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to apply industry standards to complex situations.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Experience in developing and implementing ISO-compliant quality systems.
  • Familiarity with food safety systems, GMP, and regulatory compliance standards.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a quality management-related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar quality management role within manufacturing.
  • Must have internal auditing experience, preferably in ISO and GMP environments.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems, including ISO 9001, AIB, and food safety quality systems.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems, quality management systems, and tools like SharePoint, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and specifications.
