Pay: $30.00 - $33.00 (DOE)
Full-Time | Temp-to-Perm Opportunity | Non-Exempt
Position Overview
The Quality Technician plays a key role in supporting manufacturing operations by ensuring product quality, maintaining compliance with standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This position involves a mix of hands-on inspection work, data analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support manufacturing with inspections including receiving, in-process, final inspection, dock audits, and first articles
  • Read and interpret blueprints and utilize precision measurement equipment
  • Train QA Technicians and support ongoing development of quality standards
  • Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions for customer complaints
  • Monitor and analyze production and quality data to identify trends and issues
  • Conduct capability studies and GR&R as needed
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and management to reduce defects and improve processes
  • Manage customer return and complaint processes, ensuring timely resolution
  • Act as liaison between the company and customers regarding quality concerns
  • Ensure compliance with ISO standards and internal quality systems
  • Support Lean Six Sigma initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
  • Assist with performance reviews, training plans, and departmental development

Qualifications
Required:
  • Experience in a quality role within a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
  • Hands-on experience with inspection tools and measurement equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with root cause analysis and corrective actions

Preferred:
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma (LSS) tools and methodologies
  • Familiarity with ISO standards and quality systems
  • Experience with capability studies and GR&R
  • Prior experience training or mentoring team members
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
