Schulte Staffing Solutions is partnering with a growing, well-established manufacturing company in the North Andover, MA area to hire an RF Test Technician for their antenna department. This is a direct hire opportunity offering strong growth potential, hands-on technical work, and the chance to build a long-term career in a specialized field.
Location: North Andover, MA
Job Type: Full-Time (Direct Hire)
Pay: $22 – $35/hour (DOE)
Experience: Entry Level - Experience is a plus, but not required
Requirement: Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
Position Overview:
The RF Test Technician will be responsible for assembling, testing, and tuning a variety of antenna elements in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment. This role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude and an interest in electronics or RF technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and test antenna components using hand tools and precision equipment
- Tune antenna elements to meet performance specifications
- Follow engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions
- Use RF test equipment such as network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators
- Perform soldering under magnification when needed
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues during testing
- Document test results and collaborate with engineering teams
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong hands-on mechanical aptitude
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to read and follow detailed instructions and drawings
- Basic understanding of RF/microwave concepts is a plus (impedance, VSWR, etc.)
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production or lab setting
- Good communication skills and team-oriented mindset
- Willingness to learn and grow in a technical environment
