Warehouse Associate - Production
Job Description
Schulte Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced Warehouse Associate for our client in Middleton, MA, a leading producer and distributor of fabrics serving some of the country’s largest furniture manufacturers and fabric distributors.
This is a full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity with excellent benefits available once hired permanently.
$24.00–$25.00/hr DOE | Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM–5:00 PM | Temp-to-Perm
Primary Responsibilities
- Prepare customer orders by processing requests, pulling materials, packing boxes, and staging orders for shipment
- Verify product locations and move completed orders to designated staging areas
- Perform data entry and process shipments using UPS, FedEx, and DHL systems
- Complete and maintain shipping forms, reports, logs, records, and databases
- Maintain accurate inventory by processing stock location orders and printing requests
- Store products in designated areas and update inventory/location databases as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse, including shelves, pallet areas, workstations, and shipping supply areas
- Assist with resolving inventory, shipping, and order discrepancies
- Operate a forklift safely and efficiently
- Support additional warehouse functions as needed
- Previous forklift experience is required
- Strong basic math and reading skills
- Strong computer and data entry skills
- Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, or inventory experience preferred
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Dependable and able to work effectively as part of a team
