Required Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or GED
• Technical or vocational school background in electrical or electronics helpful
• One to three plus years of experience in a precision electro mechanical assembly environment
• Training to IPC-A-610 and IPC-A-620 standards for electronic and cable/wire harness assemblies helpful

Soldering Technicians:

• Build standard cables from start to finish with minimal supervision using Manufacturing Work Instructions (MWI).
• Assemble parts for various industries.
• Operate machines to manufacture company products.
• Inspect products for defects.
• Measure wire and cut cables.
• Crimp wire terminals manually and with machines.
• Solder terminals and plugs.
• Perform rework when necessary.
• Inform proper personnel of any required equipment maintenance.
• Perform housekeeping duties as needed.

Cable Assemblers II:

• Build cable assemblies from blueprints with minimal supervision.
• Interpret drawings and manufacturer work instructions.
• Measure and cut wires.
• Crimp wire terminals manually and with machines.
• Solder terminals and plugs.
• Repair any defective products.
• Perform soldering, crimping, and stripping tasks.
• Complete First Article Inspections (FAI) and related documentation.
• Conduct rework as needed.
• Fill out all required paperwork.
• Train other team members and provide assistance as needed.
• Collaborate with Engineering (ENG) to update Bills of Materials (BOM).
• Understand the manufacturing process.

Job Requirements:

• IPC 610 is a plus but not required
• Experience reading blueprints
• Experience with CAD is a plus
• Experience with G4 assembly is a plus
• Must have basic math skills and great attention to detail
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English
• Willingness to cross-train
• Must be a team player
